Hidden in the very heart of the small (gorgeous) village of Fontaine de Vaucluse is the

The Sorgue river, litterally run through the property and the garden (even if on the small) side is gorgeous and unsual. The outdoor pool also hosts a Jacuzzi. Rooms are decorated in a lovely traditional Provencal style. Prefer the one overlooking the garden where you can linger on your balcony. And the private car is in front of the hotel (hard to park in Fontaine....)
Rates start as from 95 €. Breakfast/Prelunch are served on the terrasse, a must....
If you like sports activities (even if not an athlete), Fontaine de Vaucluse has plenty to offer you : Kayaking on the Sorgue, rock climbing, trapeze flying, acrobranche (those new park where you fly from one tree to another)....

L'hotel du Poète un superbe hotel 3 étoiles qui en mériterait 4!. Dirigé par Yves, son épouse et une équipe souriante et sympathique, ses 24 chambres vous offrent toutes une vue sur les sorgues (les rivières d'eau pure) de Fontaine. Le petit déjeuner/prelunch vous est servi sur la terrasse ombragée. Les chambres sont agréablement décorées en style provençale, nickel, confortable et matériaux recherchés. Un vrai petit nid d'amour à partir de 95 €.
Si vous aimez les activités sportives, sans pour autant être un(e) athlète, Fontaine a tout à vous offrir. Du kayak sur la Sorgue, du trapèze volant, de l'escalade, de l'acrobranche et j'en oublie....
