Hotel en provence: Saint Remy Guest reportage - Saint Remy vue par June et Ted

June & Ted were in St Remy last and looked like they enjoyed their stay. They stayed at the Hotel Mas des Carassins a nice 3 star hotel located in a quiet area of St Remy, mid way between the village centre and the main attraction of Glanum Ruins and St Paul's hospital (where Van Gogh was staying). They enjoyed their large room and its beautiful terrasse. Loved the dinner although they found it to be "too heavy for American" and are still wondering how we can eat so much in the evening.Found that the room was nicely designed with "very thoughtful touches in our room and throughout the grounds". Special mention to Pierre the owner for its sense of humourA very charming fellow

They loved the visit of the Monastery of Saint Paul de Mausole ad forwarded the bellow picture.

June & Ted sont maintenant de retour aux USA mais ont réellement apprécié leur séjour à Saint Remy.

Ils ont choisis de rester au Mas des Carassins. Ils ont apprécié le calme de l'endroit, l'accueil de Pierre et de son équipe, les petits détails dans la chambre.... Le diner dans le jardin : "excellent mais trop copieux pour nous les les Américains...." Comment faite-vous Philippe pour rester si mince m'ont-ils demandé....

En juin, la visite de Saint Paul de Mausolé est particulièrement agréable car le champs de lavande est en fleur. Attention aux abeilles butineuses! Et lors de leur passage, le lieu était investit par des peintres asiatiques (de futurs Van Gogh ???)
